Hiring: Experienced Furniture & Sofa Carpenter
We are looking for a skilled and experienced carpenter with strong practical experience in manufacturing furniture and sofas, and operating various woodworking machines and workshop equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
* Manufacture and prepare furniture and sofas from start to final finishing.
* Build sofa frames, chairs, tables, cabinets, and other furniture items.
* Operate and properly use different woodworking machines and equipment.
* Cut, shape, and assemble wood, MDF, plywood, and other materials.
* Read measurements and drawings and execute them accurately.
* Use hand tools, power tools, cutting, sanding, and shaping equipment.
* Carry out furniture modifications, repairs, and maintenance when required.
* Maintain high-quality finishing, accuracy, and timely completion.
* Work independently and take full responsibility for each piece from start to finish.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of practical experience in furniture manufacturing and carpentry.
* Proven experience in manufacturing sofas and furniture.
* Excellent ability to operate woodworking machines and workshop equipment.
* Strong skills in measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing.
* Ability to solve problems and complete work according to the required measurements and design.
* Previous experience in specialized furniture and carpentry workshops is preferred.
Work Location: Al Ain / Umm Al Quwain, UAE
Important: A practical test will be conducted to assess the candidate’s skills and experience before hiring.
